You provided great service without the heavy sales pitch which is refreshing. When we first met I wanted to buy a cheaper mattress, however when “having a lay down” as you do when selecting a mattress you were patient with me and let me try and talk about indepth the different styles and materials.

I was able to walk away with no hassles of coming back to try another mattress and when I did I was glad I spent that little bit more as it has been worth every cent.

After having slept on a Zen bed, I won’t sleep on any other mattress. A Zen bed is extremely comfortable & luxurious.

I bought 2 Mattresses from Ben last week – 1 Single and 1 Queen. Now after using my new mattress, I must say that Ben is selling fantastic mattresses, very reliable and very comfortable. Before buying mattresses from Ben, I went to “Fantastic Furniture” and “Sleep Now” and few other brands, I compared prices and quality.

Ben has very good quality mattresses at very low prices.
Also, Ben is a very honest and helpful person.

I came across Ben when I asked a friend where she got her bed and mattress. She couldn’t reccommend Ben enough with his great packages and deals. So I touched base with Ben and asked if we can see his mattress range.

My husband and I drove to Queanbeyan where he kept a small storage space that doubles as a showroom. Ben asked the right questions and always considered our non-negotiables which are: comfort, firmness and price. He narrowed down our options based on our requirements, he helped us on the decision-making process. Always guiding but never imposing!

With Ben, I felt like it was never about a sale but educating his potential customers about mattresses so they can make an informed and wise choice. He even made our trip worthwile, he gave us freebies even before making a purchase! I received FREE 2 pillows and a mattress protector (which I was so pleased because I have a pre-schooler and a toddler!). In the end, we bought a mattress which he delivered and helped installed with my husband.

Hi Ben,

Thank you very much for providing a good deal on a queen mattress that I bought for my son from you in July.

After visiting two of the major mattress retailers in Fyshwick (who claim that their prices are the lowest and quality is the highest, as they manufacture mattresses themselves),trying different mattresses, my son was still in doubt.

Later that day, I came across the ad for new mattresses on gumtree. And called you, Ben, to arrange a viewing.
I must admit that at first I was sceptical about possible quality of the mattresses. But I was proven wrong.

My son, who had tried several $700 mattresses at “Making Mattresses” and “OMF”, was very impressed with the mattress that Ben showed us and, best of all, price was only $400. Build quality and comfort of the mattress was better than any of the ones we saw at other retailers earlier on.

What surprised me even more is the size of the box it was packaged in! You can literally fit it in a hatchback, although Ben delivered it to us within one hour. Free.

Almost 4 months on, my son is still very happy with it and has a good sleep. I highly recommend Ben’s beds.
Go out, compare what’s out there and try one of Ben’s mattresses. My next mattress will be purchased from him (with my next tax return).

If you are looking for a new mattress or two, I highly recommended the services and products of Ben from Bens Beds.

I first met Ben in early June 2015. I was in urgent need of two new mattresses, one king single and one double. I had stalked Gumtree and All Classifieds for about two weeks looking for decent mattresses at fair prices without any luck. I also visited a few bed shops and talked to a few sales people, but wasn’t impressed with them, their prices or their products. I had noticed Ben’s ad in the list on Gumtree many times during the two weeks but again, didn’t want to pay through the nose for new mattresses, so I didn’t look at it. However, by the end of the two weeks, I decided to see what the ad was all about. I figured since the ad had been there consistently the whole time, it had to be worth a look. Despite being a bit sceptical, I liked what I read and contacted Ben. We exchanged several texts and at 1pm that day we met up at his micro-warehouse/ showroom in Queanbeyan.

I was initially a bit surprised that someone would use a self-storage lockup to sell mattresses from, but since I was there I decided to humour the man and see what he had to say. To be frank, I thought there must be something dodgy happening if he is selling out of a garage. We discussed what I was looking for and I was very clear about my requirements and budget. He immediately explained that his “Mandala” range mattresses would fit the bill perfectly but apologised that he didn’t have any “Mandala” display mattresses for me to try. He invited me into the shed to try some other mattresses, which were very comfortable and excellent quality, but more than what I wanted to pay.

We debated back and forth for a while and I pressed him with a lot of hard questions trying to determine if he was really genuine or dodgy. I was also very clear that unless I could try a “Mandala” mattress I would be on my way and look elsewhere. We went back and forth for about 20 minutes, but Ben answered all my questions to my satisfaction, remaining cool, calm, courteous and professional the whole time. He even explained in detail, when I asked, why he was selling mattresses out of a self-storage garage. (You should ask him too – it’s a great story). Eventually I was satisfied he was genuine and wasn’t trying to pull a swiftie of any kind. Finally, he offered me a great price but I remained adamant that unless I could try I wouldn’t buy.

Sensing we were at the crossroads, Ben said he had one double in stock still in its factory wrapper. He was reluctant to unwrap it for obvious reasons, but he did it to make me happy and hopefully clinch the sale. I tried it out and it was everything Ben had described earlier. But I was now satisfied it was indeed what I was looking for and we closed the deal at the brilliant price he had offered earlier.

Ben said he would have new stock shipped directly from his Sydney supplier to me within five days at the most but hopefully sooner, and promised to send me a tracking number by the end of the day, which he did. I was pleasantly surprised when the mattresses landed on my doorstep just two days later. I was very impressed – that was real service.

I started out sceptical, but Ben won me over with his honesty and professionalism. He is the real deal, believes in and backs his product, and goes the extra mile to guarantee total customer satisfaction. Within a couple of weeks he contacted me again to make sure we were still happy with the mattresses, which we are.
So, I have no hesitation in saying, if you want good quality mattresses, great prices, outstanding warranties and total customer satisfaction, give Ben a call – today.

I was in need of a mattress & contacted Ben from his gumtree ad, he made the process of buying a mattress so easy, I just met him at his warehouse were he had mattresses to try out.

It took only a couple of days for it to arrive & best part of it was when I picked it up it fitted in my small Toyota car because it came rolled up.

My first memorable experience in canberra was your service. Combined with fantastic products you provided and the great value, I go to bed happy knowing I got a great deal and that the proceeds will help support such a wonderful person.

Not only did you help deliver a bed to my apartment at 9pm at night after a long day driving back from Sydney after I told you that I had no bed to sleep on that night and on the actual day I ordered from you, you had the integrity to go out of your way to get the gift for me. After checking out lots of mattress stores in Fyshwick to get a sense of the market and not being too impressed, I thought I’d try contacting Ben after I saw his ad- although I wasn’t sure how he could offer quality beds at such a good price. So glad I did! My new bed is very comfortable, great value, and the service was fabulous. Ben answered all my questions and arranged same-day delivery. Only downside: this bed makes sleeping in so much easier (not brilliant on weekdays!).
